The Time Traveler's Wife.

This is a book that isn't an official Book Club book, but has been read, and is being read, by Book Club readers.

It's about a guy with a genetic fault that makes him randomly travel through time. He meets a girl when she is six, and continues to visit her as she grows up. Don't let the premise put you off, this book isn't so much about time travel as it is about the love story. You get lost in the love story, so much so, that you don't question the validity of the whole time travel thing.

I have read some brilliant books this year, and I'd have to say this is just about the best. I give it five stars (of a possible five).
Simon.
